Good. You have some conviction

"so how do I actually write better cold emails?"

I went from sending bad cold emails to sending good cold emails after changing just one thing.

I couldn't believe how simple it was.

It took me like 2 years to realize it but I'll tell you the main tricks here so you don't have to waste even a day.

Writing good cold emails is about clarity and persuasion. The magic is in keeping things simple. Simple writing is persuasive.

"A good argument in five sentences will sway more people than a brilliant argument in a hundred sentences. Don't fight it" - Scott Adams

Don't hear it from me.

Hear it from Jack altman - Sam Altman's (the guy who created chatgpt) brother

2 ways I learned to do this. First I spent thousands and thousands of hours finding and studying the best cold emails out there. Then I copied them by hand. Literally.

I know, it sounds stupidly simple and trust me my cold emails were TRASHY before

But after that I learned to have flow, voice, and rhythm in my cold emails so that they sound human. I learned the psychology behind writing subject lines that would get emails to be clicked on. I learned to follow up many times with a polite, I-respect-this-guy-for-grinding kind of persistence and not the annoying kind of persistence

And it worked. I could find anyone's email and reach them.

With cold email I became friends with people who've built multi-million $$$ companies, I got Rian Gauvreau - the founder of Clio ($3 bn company) to be my mentor, I got to work at Scale AI with no prior experience.

It even led me to work in a Hollywood film - no joke, its called "A Nice Indian Boy" and I'm there at 1:23:22 for 10 whole seconds
